Crunchy, chocolatey, decadent bites of heaven – cruelty free.
I must warn you, these are incredibly addictive and incredibly unhealthy, i.e. an absolute must try recipe. They’re super easy to knock up whenever you’re in need of a sugar fix and require no baking or fancy ingredients. The only thing you might have trouble sourcing are the marshmallows; but most health-food stores such as Holland and Barrett will have a vegan brand in stock!
125g dairy free butter
300g dark chocolate
3tbsp golden syrup
200g vegan biscuits
100g gelatine-free marshmallows
2 tsp of icing sugar
Break up your chocolate into small pieces, and melt it together with the butter and syrup in a large bowl.
Bash up your biscuits and stir them into your chocolatey mixture along with your marshmallows.
Spoon into a greased tray, smooth over and allow to set in the fridge or freezer for an hour or two.
Turn out your treats onto a chopping board, dust with icing sugar and chop into chunk and get stuck in!
Simple but amazing.
